Pub Grub

Mum and Dad took me back to Croydon this weekend and I'm now getting a bit more used to the place. I sleep a little better now that I'm more comfortable there and I've realised that the walls are quite nice and blank if you ignore the fact that the wallpaper is somewhat textured. Plus, I love what Dad's done by not fully painting the tops and bottoms of the living room walls! Lilac and light yellow mix so well...

Auntie Jenny and Uncle Tim came round today and they thought I was looking much bigger. Thanks guys! I've been feeding myself up recently and I'm glad it shows. We went to a pub, that used to be an oast house, for some nice food. Well, I stayed with the tried and tested Mummy's Milk but the others said they enjoyed it. Here's Jenny and Tim in the pub:

Why are they smiling so much? Because they've just got engaged and Uncle Tim bought Auntie Jenny a huge ring! Auntie Jenny showed it to Mum and Dad who were very impressed and delighted for them.

Now I don't want to brag, but I think I showed Auntie Jenny something even more exciting than her ring:

Have you guessed what it is? Regular blog readers may have some idea... Yes, it's a ceiling! But not just any ceiling. As a connoisseur of these things I can tell you that this one is a fine example:

Almost too much excitement for one day!
